The Torch builders continue to scale up production and arrange for supply of Torch hardware, blades, spars and sails.
In the meanwhile, we have been at hard at work designing a class association intended to be run by sailors for sailors. We have tried in our proposed Constitution to provide representation for sailors at all levels, all ages and all parts of the world. We have also tried to make the organization sustainable by blending professional management in an appropriate proportion with sailor representation that provides continuity but requires for turnover in an orderly manner.
Members of the Kirby Torch class have just received a copy of the draft Constitution by email. We have asked for their feedback before we finalize the class structure.
